Sew Train is a sewing studio located in lovely Stone Mountain Village. We specialize in affordable sewing classes for children and adults, along with crochet classes.

Each three hour beginner sewing class is setup to teach you the basics of operating a sewing machine, choosing and reading a commercial pattern, pattern layout, fabric selection and cutting, and finishing techniques enabling you to design and sew an amazing wardrobe, beautiful accessories, and cute items for the home.  In the crochet class you will learn to master all of the  beginner crochet stitches,  the different yarn weights, crochet hook sizes, and more.  Beginner crochet projects include: headbands, dish and wash cloths, soap caddy, scrunchies, mug cozy, pot holder, various scarves and hats, blankets, pillows, slippers,  and more.     Anyone can excel in our sewing and crochet program and learn how to make wonderful items for yourself, your family and your friends.

 

We provide the sewing machines, fabric, and sewing supplies for all of our classes.  You can bring your own. We also provide yarn, crochet hooks, and all crochet materials needed to complete your projects.  No prior sewing or crochet experience is required.

 

Sew Train also offers sewing parties for kids and adults, sewing birthday parties,  office parties, baby and bridal showers, the kids night In club, winter and spring break sewing camps, Thanksgiving and Christmas holiday sewing camps, and summer sewing camps for kids.  We also offer annual sewing retreats and one day sewing workshops.
