Children's Courses

Spring Sewing and Crochet Classes start March 1st 2025.

Let us help you strengthen art and build life skills in your child. In this class, students will spend their time learning how to make soft home furnishings, wonderful garments and accessories that they take home and wear.

Sewing and crocheting are not only art, but they are lifetime skills.

Learning how to sew and crochet helps to build a child's creativity, builds self-esteem, and gives them opportunities to show their individual style. Sewing is not only fun, but it also helps to build math, and reading skills.

Classes are held every Thursday and Saturday. Students will need to sign up for one of the days. Thursdays- 4:30 PM - 7:30 PM or Saturdays 11 AM- 3 PM for sewing & crochet.

In our sewing class students learn: boy & girls ages 7 & up.

Basic sewing machine operation and safety
Fabric selection and layout
Pinning and cutting fabric
Project construction
How to develop individual style
How to read instructions and how to use a commercial pattern.
Projects include soft home items, cute clothing, accessories, and more.
Every child works at their own pace.
Sewing machines, fabric and all sewing supplies are included.

In our crochet class our students learn:

Tools used for crocheting and safety.
How to choose yarn and the different types of yarn
How to choose a crochet hook
Basic crochet stitches
Abbreviations for crochet stitches
How to read simple crochet patterns
How to crochet easy projects such as: scarf, baby blanket, headband, & more.
Every child works at their own pace.
Crochet hooks, yarn, and all crochet supplies are included.

Total costs:

Annual Registration $150.00 can be made in two payments of $75.00.

Monthly tuition $200.00

Trial sewing/crochet class - $65.00 (All supplies & machines are included).

Sibling discounts are available.

Sewing machines, fabric, and all supplies are included. Each student receives a complete sewing kit.
