New two-week Sessions

Registration for our 2025 specialty summer sewing camp is now open, enroll now.  This year we've added a two-week sewing camp session, which ensures each camper to have a greater experience of building friendships, completing more projects, and having tons of fun.  Many of our sewing projects require more time and instruction for our campers to build their sewing skills and techniques.  It's very important for our campers to receive all we offer in each sewing camp session to allow them the opportunity to practice their new sewing skills. The beginner projects that each camper will learn throughout the two weeks will have them interested and excited about sewing which will last them a lifetime.  Each camper will work on projects that will build skills in using and controlling the sewing machine.  They will learn how to properly thread a machine, how to make a bobbin,  sew a straight stich, back stitch, zigzag stitch, how to finish seams, and much more.  Our returning campers will continue to build and develop new skills as they participate in the more advanced  lessons. 

Our two-week sewing camp also ensures that each camper will have less screen time and more creativity time.  According to the American Academy of Pediatrics, kids are spending more than 7 hours each day in front of the screen.  Too much media time reduces time spent sleeping and reading, and can have a negative impact on school performance.  Social skills can be delayed and too much time spent in front of the computer can also lead to obesity.

Add a splash of fun with Camp Beachwear:  Ten day sewing camp (June 2nd- June 13th). "Camp 1"

During this two weeks of sewing camp, campers will be able to make a variety of projects.  

Reversible beach blanket/pillow, Beach-bag, beach cover-up, beach shorts, sunhat, & much more.

Travel and Camping Gear: Ten day sewing camp (June 16th -27th). "Camp 2"

During this two weeks of sewing camp, campers will be able to make a variety of projects.  

Travel blanket/neck pillow, reading pillow with pockets, laundry & shoe bags, a sleeping bag, a drawstring bag, shorts, pj's, and more.

Cozy Bedroom Linens: Ten day sewing camp ( July 7th - 18th)

"Camp 3"

During this two weeks of sewing camp, campers will be able to make their own bedding collection.  They will design and sew sheets, pillowcases, blankets, pillows and more.

 Sewing Camp Fees: Returning students- Full Day $450.00 or half day $225.00 per camp

​

New Students- Full Day $500.00 or half day $250.00  per camp

(Cash App, Cash, Zelle, or a Check)  We do not accept credit cards.

Registration Fee: $100.00 - secures child's spot in camp.

Anyone registering after May 10th, half of the payment will be required to secure your child's spot and the balance is due on first day of the sewing camp session.

Sewing machines, sergers, thread, fabric, irons, patterns, measuring tools, buttons, zippers, and all sewing supplies are provided.  Campers are welcome to bring their own sewing machine and fabric.

Full day campers must bring lunch, snacks, and plenty of water.  ( We take community walks before lunch).  

Half day campers should bring snacks and water. Campers should bring their library card if they want to check out books from the library.  (We will visit twice per week).  To participate in the Summer Reading Challenge.

Every Summer we provide sewing camp scholarships to low-income youth, from our community each eligible camper will receive a one week scholarship to the sewing camp. Campers will learn how to safely operate a sewing machine, selecting, pinning & cutting fabric, construction of cute items, hand sewing, and more.
